My clinical specialties include the following:

• Prematurity

• Occupational Therapy for young children
• Challenging behavior in young children
• Genetic conditions causing disabilities

I have worked in the Child Development Program at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for the past 26 years, specializing in diagnostic evaluations and therapy for infants and toddlers. I continue to work there as part of the diagnostic team as well as providing developmental support for the Intensive Care Nursery and Intensive Care Nursery Followup team.

I am on the board of the Infant Mental Health Association and Early Intenvention Network and worked for years in the early intervention system.  I am currently providing ongoing consultation for early interventionists in New Hampshire and in Vermont, through home visits, co-treatment sessions and educational presentations.

I have had 6 years of consultation to toy companies, working with creative teams to develop toys and books and other products designed to provide good quality learning activities for young infants and toddlers. Knowing how infant and toddlers think and learn, how they use their hands, how they perceive the world, I work to help designers to customize their products to support children's development. 

My educational degrees include:

• M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Boston University in1976.
• Doctorate in Education (EdD) from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1995- Specializing in Early Childhood Special Education

I attend and present at National Conferences related to the growth and development of young children with disabilities and prematurity.

I am a nationally certified Occupational Therapist licensed in both New Hampshire and Vermont.
